Abstract
In order to develope a protoplast fusion of the Genus Bacillus, the optimal conditions for the protoplast formation invesitigated with Bacillus thuringiensis var. kurstaki Those results are as follows: Ratio of Protoplast formation was better L-broth than 2Xpenassay broth. The optimal lysozyme concentration for protoplast formation was 15 mg/ml. The optimal time for lysozyme treatment was early-exponential growth phase. The best frequency of protoplast formation was examined 80 % in L-broth and 60 % in 2Xpenassay broth from Bacillus thuringiens var. kurstaki.
